I get a real kick out of the fact that a local anti-ltn campaigner here in Enfield spends a lot of time denouncing LTNs and then cycles to work along quiet residential streets in the wee hours of the morning when there is no traffic (sounds very similar to the benefits of LTNs)

This is astonishing! 8.09am and complaining that the shops are empty and that not even a single cyclist was seen, apart from the one in the photograph. Best to liven it up with some vehicular traffic, wouldn't want to let those people walking enjoy the street.

I love this so much - the juxtaposition is fantastic. The background - traffic free roads, tress in full bloom; the middle-ground - two people on bikes, planters rich with colour; the poster - polluting cars in a winter/autumn scene. Makes me want to cycle and ask for more LTNs!

I see that Ediz has been sharing a video that I posted last year that shows no traffic along Green Lanes at 08.10am, on a Thursday in July, while schools were still in term. The mistake he made is that my post was almost a year after the Bounds Green LTN trial was implemented.

You want to spend £1.4 million ripping out LTNs where children are currently playing, walking and cycling on safer streets, by doing so you are not supporting young people, just ruining a potential future that’s not fully dependent.

@MadexLogistics @FORS_online Thanks for replying. I have 'liked' the first part of this message as the sentiment is nice. However, the 2nd message clearly states that your company is willing to break the law and endanger people to get the job done - this is deeply worrying as a person who shares this road.

A local anonymous twitter troll asked to meet me today on Grovelands Park, I went and they didn't show up, then went to a second location and they didn't show up. I was cracking up, how sickened must they be? Certainly looks like a coward in my estimation. Nice to go for a spin.

@carlafrancome I went to Regents Park this morning and spent a few hours doing laps with Adrian. It was great. I also bumped into the entirety of the Community Bike Ride outside The Prince on the way home. Amazing day. Power Rangers at Ally Pally too!

@BetterSt4Enf @carlafrancome So following on from my lovely coffee on Myddleton Road, I cycled to Knightsbridge with trailer in tow and met my mother. We the strolled to Hyde Park, set up the Brompton, packed away the trailer and attached it to my pannier rack and away we went.

So today, cycled a @myurbo for the first time from Enfield Town to the shops at Masons Corner. Parked the bike, had an espresso at Marino & Roberta’s.Walked to Winchmore Hill, tried out a new barbers there, then strolled up to PG for another appointment. Bikes all over the place!
