Let's be clear - Many Islanders have progressive/left-leaning values, and many feel like they're alone in having these views. It's not true! Let's get connected, we have a Facebook group here: https://t.co/4OSbLT96ug #peipoli #pei

How to wage war on the poor: STEP 1: Make it illegal to be homeless STEP 2: Make it illegal to give food and temporary shelter to the homeless This is happening in #Barrie Ontario this week. Not the Canada I want to live in. https://t.co/KJtIjAcCF4

Welp. They're doing it. #Barrie City Council are set to pass a bylaw this Wednesday night that criminalizes providing survival items to unhoused people on public property, with zero public engagement. It's undemocratic and it's mean. This is not how we take care of each other.

A couple tents popped up behind my house recently. Cooking up some burgers for them and making sure their needs are met. If you see an encampment pop up in your neighborhood those folks are your neighbours now. Look out for them.

This is one of the most heartbreaking and embarrassing issues with Canadas smallest province. Islanders have twice elected a government incapable of governing 170,000 people. Imagine this incompetence on a scale with other provinces. https://t.co/XhGAjbX24C #cdnpoli #peipoli

Thank you to our 27 candidates, all of the volunteers, donors and voters! Your support means the world. Unfortunately we didn’t get an opportunity to elect an MLA last night there’s no doubt we’ve shown that we can run a wonderful campaign focused on Islanders.

It’s weird to me that people are out there protesting mask mandates, 15-minute cities, and drag storytimes, but when we bring up unrealistic grocery prices, they respond with, “Yeah, but they have a razor thin profit margins”.

It's hard to take the term "labour shortage" seriously when our govt. advertises #PEI as having some of the lowest labour costs in 🇨🇦 for businesses Wages being a big part of labour costs, this attracts businesses while repelling workers which ends up hurting both parties🤔

A reminder that law enforcement *responds* to crime, but a living wage, food and water security, accessible healthcare, and public education *prevent* crime. If you want safer communities, invest in people, not punishments.
