Thank you
@ChrisNayler

Good news - our advocacy worked. Barrie City Council has backed down on their cruel by-law proposal for now.
Bad news - they continue to shift the blame from themselves to the orgs and people who support our unhoused neighbours.
We must continue to fight for housing for all.
How to wage war on the poor:
STEP 1: Make it illegal to be homeless
STEP 2: Make it illegal to give food and temporary shelter to the homeless
This is happening in

Ontario this week. Not the Canada I want to live in.
Welp. They're doing it.

Tragically - but not surprisingly - dramatic increase in deaths

Claims Alberta model "fixed" things a sham
@PierrePoilievre
This is so disappointing. I used to think the same things, Pierre. Then I met with people in recovery and loved ones of people whose kids died of overdose. And I read the research. All of them said criminalizing people who use drugs made it worse. This isn't a political issue.

So let's make sure I got this: there are people who use drugs who are ASKING for safer supply drugs on the street and are even willing to pay for it
Their other option is toxic contaminated street drugs - which is what is actually killing people
Justin Trudeau said that spending tax dollars to give free hard drugs to addicts was "safe."
Now we know addicts are reselling Trudeau's drugs and using the proceeds to buy deadly fentanyl.
My common sense plan - give addicts rehab, not free drugs, to bring our loved ones…
@PierrePoilievre
