Some really exciting news in ooL-studies: there's maybe a good reason why that lengthy and bulky molecule ATP became our universal energy carrier. ADP catalyses its own phosphorylation, and that of other NDPs! Congrats to all authors at @MoranLabChem.
Happy to share that @EmilieWerner7 and I's paper on nonenzymatic phosphorylation is now out! I'm so proud of the work we've done💪.Glad I got to work on this in @MoranLabChem 's lab, and collaborating with the likes of @RJ_Mayer has been a pleasure!.
