Road changes still going ahead on WBR Why? The majority opinion using a helpful template to frame a response doesn’t count. @LBHF don’t consult with residents, businesses or councillors - their own party or the oppo. They don’t care what you think https://t.co/yXFkFgJZzk

Another bandaid to the S Fulham CAN. The air is deteriorating year by year and traffic is not evaporating. Another camera! Our hearts go out to the Clancarty residents who campaigned so hard to dump traffic on WBR, now they will have to endure multiple u turns in their road

Looking at @Breathe_London graph isn’t it about time @LBHF stopped called S Fulham a Clean Air Neighbourhood. Perhaps a Cash Cow neighbourhood would be better. Our children are paying the price @MumsForLungs @asthmalunguk @Heidi_Labour

We didn’t feedback, we objected ! @LBHF and @StephenCowan playing ‘legal’ games with us again. Anyone who received this response should email in to point out that they formally object. @JM_Afonso please let your responders know
Residents asking @LBHF questions about WBR ‘safety’ work receive this generic response We acknowledge receipt of your email and would like to assure you that your feedback has been noted and will be considered in the decision-making process Works still delayed 23 Aug update

“Disappointed that transport sec @Heidi_Labour doesn’t believe in local democracy. She also wants to ditch our proposal to last gov’t on better data to stop Council misinformation. Does @chelfulhamben support her?” https://t.co/TMaCJNnYZ8

Looks like @LBHF have cancelled roadworks on Wandsworth Bridge Road commencing 18th August after huge backlash from local residents. The latest weekly bulletin no longer includes this.

Just to be clear, your driving habit is heavily subsidised. More so for the 46% of London households and the 22% of UK households that don’t own a car. For every mile driven, taxpayers subsidise 21p outside London, up to £1 inside. Raise Fuel Duty https://t.co/7UylWN0GJ5
theguardian.com
Successive chancellors have steered clear of increasing taxes for motorists for 15 years, but this should be a no-brainer for cash-strapped Rachel Reeves, says Guardian columnist Larry Elliott

4! More like 40! Every planter and parklet has been damaged multiple times and we have the photographic evidence. If you are elected you should conduct a bottom up review of traffic management in @LBHF @Heidi_Labour time to take control before someone is killed
💥FOI reveals at least four crashes into Labour’s Wandsworth Bridge Road planters - two destroyed, two damaged. Unsafe from day one, and residents have paid the price for Labour’s vanity project. If elected to run the Council in 2026, we will scrap them immediately.

Sign the petition and tell @Heidi_Labour we want the bridge reopened. We are all fed up with the @LBHF ‘congestion is your friend’ traffic management approach. We need universal 21st century solutions across London, not fiefdoms and camera fine extortion.
✍️SIGN OUR PETITION to put Hammersmith Bridge repairs at the top of the Government’s agenda. 🥀After years of failure by the Labour Council and TfL to repair Hammersmith Bridge, we need your help to pressure the government to release funding through their new ‘Structures Fund’.

Is there finally hope that Hammersmith Bridge will reopen to all vehicles with the new Structures fund? @Heidi_Labour this would certainly ease congestion in S Fulham Putney and Barnes. It would be popular with residents

You obviously have access to @LBHF data which the rest of us don’t. Yet another example of doing things with favoured residents/activists but not the voters. Given this privileged info are you able to tell us exactly how many persons have objected to the proposed traffic orders
@KenJMunn @CameraTraffic @TheLTDA @UnitedCabbies No taxi driver or taxi org has objected to the raised crossings.

Yet another accident last night. obvious to everyone except @LBHF traffic planners that placing a chicane or planter opposite a junction on Wandsworth Bridge road isn’t safe for anyone including pedestrians. You have until the end of today to write to traffic.orders@lbhf.gov.uk
@CameraTraffic @LBHF @TheLTDA @UnitedCabbies Main takeaway from this post? Cab Drivers Oppose Pedestrian Safety.

Delighted, our campaigning is really getting to them!
It’s the wild hysterical reaction to a Council installing some zebra crossings on a main road and the incessant politicisation of mundane road management decisions that got the horror that is Caroline Shuffrey banned from Nextdoor. #TooNuts4Nextdoor

It is not ideology, it is pure greed for traffic camera fines @LBHF
South Fulham LTNs Schools are out for summer yet Wandsworth Bridge Road is still blocked as a direct consequence of the Low Traffic Neighbourhoods Councils should not be ruled by the ideology

100s of objections to @LBHF proposals to narrow WBR, build 4 raised zebra crossings and clog 11 out of 18 side streets with cycle parking bays. Anyone can email traffic.orders@ https://t.co/lpACT6KFJZ by tonight 6 Aug. This resident wants you to know what they think

Really @BobFromAccounts. Personally we can’t see the appeal of trudging through artificial sand to buy 50 litres of paint from a local shop and hauling it back to a car parked miles away, presumably dodging the e-bikes left on the pavements by this happy little mob
