lot's of people who have "made it" in previous jobs are not willing to go back in the trenches because of ego, even if if it bring a much higher ROI in the future. I went from Meta 260k TC to 36k TC right now and whenever that bothers me, I think of you and keep going ;-)

Pro tip: become friends with an accountant. Each accountant has 40 small businesses with problems and chances are they told their accountant about them. Also a killer way to get a warm intro

We said yes to everything and got to 8.2k MRR but now we are spread wayyy too thin across serving existing clients, doing bizdev and taking bets.

If your idea has potential, you will end up with a bunch of competitors who have a team of 5 and only focus on that one product.
On your own, those are simply terrible odds.
Sorry, but I don’t believe a solofounder (even with contractors) can run 5 different SaaS that are alternatives to existing billion-dollar products.
Support will be slow. Bug fixes and updates will have to wait or maybe even never.
