After a long, difficult battle with cancer, my dad died yesterday. He was surrounded by family—we held his hand and told happy memories during his final moments.

When they exit the pregnant person’s body and the umbilical cord is detached, that’s when they become a human being. It doesn’t happen in the womb at all.
