I took a photo of the maple leaf I beaded with the Métis symbol, added my handwriting to say “Métis Proud”, made it into iron on transfers, then added them to the newest ribbon skirt I just finished sewing today. I am really proud of this one!!

I’m starting to gather fabric for scarf season so expect to see some new things up for sale soon-ish. I’ve also started working on some Métis specific things to sell & some beaded jewelry. I’m hoping between all 3 (& posting new podcast eps), it’ll be enough to keep bills paid🤞🏽

It is officially done!! I freehand the curly cues so they are the way they are lol Imperfect but I like them. I just ironed the backing on to make sure it is stiff and won’t bend when it is on my jacket. I just need to sew it to my jean jacket and it’s onto my next project!

My bldg has been doing a school supply drive but no one donated. So, yesterday I went to the Dollar Tree, got backpacks & $100 of supplies. As a single parent who did it alone I know how stressful it is. If you can, fill a backpack, stuff it w/supplies & drop it at a local school
