Dr. Tiller’s clinic in Wichita was firebombed in 1986; he was shot in both arms in 1993–and still, he persisted in providing abortion care to those who needed it. He was murdered by another anti-abortion extremist.
His memory is a blessing & yesterday’s win is an honor to him.
This Kansas win for abortion rights, for abortion access, for safety, dignity, and autonomy so honors the memory of Dr. George Tiller.
