Every ‘Culture Day’ I’m baffled as to what crazy soft power move Morocco pulled to have South Asian British teens dress like them.
Why do non-Arab British Muslims wear polyester Arab thawbs? Not even Moroccans wear this stuff. A nice linen or cotton shalwar qamis would be much more rooted and respectable.
