It really is staggering to see the leader of the Opposition throw fellow women/girls under the bus… …all to make a data-illiterate attack on foreigners. As if domestic violence, workplace harassment, groping, rapes, drink spiking, misogyny, etc otherwise just don’t exist.

Absolutely. The rhetoric is always about war and division when it should be about assertive but constructive negotiation.

Why is nobody saying “ we need to talk to Russia and build an enduring peace” Europeans need to wake up. The only possible positive future involves peace and trade with Russia. Russia is a natural cultural and geographical fit. We’re being led by war mongers. Whose children

Another day another news blackout from most of our media on the story of a Farage ally in European Parliament and leader of his party in Wales taking bribes from Russia to spout their lies and BS … Nathan Gill should be a household name by now. But the media that gave you phone

Talk is cheap. What we need is facts. An actual inquiry. If the government really believes Reform is "in bed with Vladimir Putin", why on earth isn't it opening the inquiry the security and intelligence committee have long demanded??

'“Bobby wants to be careful with what he says, but I’m not so careful with what I say,” Mr Trump added, referring to Mr Kennedy.' Well Trump is right about that one thing I guess. More terrifying lunacy from the US government: https://t.co/LlgA7keoXP

Freedom itself - again almost no one would refute the value of that. But just like freedom of speech, it doesn't mean that you should inflict cruelty on people just because you want to. Freedom of all kinds should be balanced with respect for people who are different to you.

Freedom of speech. Who can deny that that's an important thing? But what these high profile agressive right wingers mean by freedom of speech is that they should be able to say anything they want without accountability, and without regard to whether it offends or damages anyone.

The strongest signal of credibility is not how much people know. It's how much they care about accuracy. Trustworthy sources don't have an agenda. They pursue the truth even if it counters their hopes and beliefs. The most reliable voices are the ones most invested in learning.

According to a new poll, half of our 13- to 27-year-olds can’t see the point of all those time-wasting elections and parliaments. Why do they not know that authoritarianism is worse?

I welcome this. I've worked a 4 day week for a few years now (by losing a fifth of my income!) and it was hugely positive for me in terms of headspace, family, and just making life function more smoothly! https://t.co/UIooyhJwAb

The hard-metric obsession in the software engineering community is ineffective at best and destructive at worst. The military demonstrated (but maybe not learned) that lesson in the Vietnam War (see McNamara fallacy). Deming was absolutely right when he said, “You can only

So finally they're out. And it has nothing to do with left/right. It's just millions of decent people voting against a collection of irresponsible and incompetent people with no integrity whatsoever.

Unfortunately, a tabloid newspaper has got hold of a music video I recorded in Islington North with an iconic grime artist I've admired for years. They are planning to publish a heavily edited clip, so I'm releasing the full version myself. Watch here:

Even aside from Sunak's incorrect and misleading claim, the worst thing is that according to the IFS those earning less than £26K will in fact be worse off. That's not okay is it.

At #PMQs today, Rishi Sunak said “this week we’re cutting taxes by £900 for everyone in work”. This isn’t correct, for at least two reasons. (1/5)
