It’s been a little over 3 years since I returned stateside and I still miss being in Europe.
And no not just the pastries.
Mostly I miss using my other languages and the travel convenience. And I miss the local organic grocery store and dairy farm.
But yes the pastries too.

Managed to add 4 more full pushups to my max at the end of my workout today so in the last 3 weeks I’ve increased my max by 10. That may not seem like much but it means a lot to me 🙂

A fun holiday tradition I will now share with you all:
Every year I pick wrapping paper that has cute, smiling characters, but they can’t have eyebrows. When I wrap the gifts, I add angry eyebrows by hand and then wait to see who notices.

Bit of internet trouble so this one was slow to post, but today we talk about the Battle of Gazala, which took place about 80 years ago this week, and losing control of Tobruk to the Axis forces in North Africa at a time when the Allies really needed a win.

UPDATE: Hooo boy 🤣 Definitely feel like I’ve been hit by a truck. Not so much sick but achy.
I was comfortably warm all night until like 4am when I absolutely had to get up because I was too hot, slight temperature 100.8 but it’s gone down since I got out of bed.
