If you're interested in Bill Gates' life from an autistic point of view, then you'll enjoy my latest book "What Has Autism Ever Done For Us?". He has also recently admitted that he would probably be diagnosed as autistic if he were growing up today. What do you think?
@BillGates takes me back to his old school in Seattle as he publishes his memoir (he also clambers out of a window - all will become clear). Our stories rolling out across BBC News & 7pm Monday @BBCTwo ‘The Making of Bill Gates’ @rpanthaki Maxine Collins @StuartDenman Neil Meads

Excuse me while I get my tiny violin. The employment rate rising to 4.4% is absolutely not newsworthy when it is 70% for autistic people

If you're going to do one thing to help autistic people today, put your clocks back! Even as an adult, seeing the wrong time is annoying #ClocksGoBack #ActuallyAutistic

Following on from @KemiBadenoch's ignorant comments on autism, I'll put forward a proposal for the @Conservatives to fix this. One more £10m VIP contract won't do any harm, right?

BREAKING: @equinor CEO confronted over aggressive oil & gas expansion across the world. Last year, they made £29 billion in profits. They roll in their cash, while the rest of the world burns. This is inconceivable greed. @laurensunfl0wer #StopRosebank #EquinorOut

As ‘World Autism Awareness’ month comes to an end, I would highly recommend reading a book written by @MichaelBarton22 which I am sure will provide a different outlook on autism to the world. It is a great read and a different take on writing.

@QueerlyAutistic I see autism as a disability and a superpower put together in the same person. There are some things we struggle with, there are also some things we are very good at. The contrast highlights the "superpower" - I couldn't work in front-line retail but I can do anything in Excel.

An article about #Autism actually worth reading https://t.co/bhSgFJ7Ghn

Unfair hiring practices and outdated attitudes are among barriers autistic people face, a review says.

I think disabled people should spice it up a bit and start asking for unreasonable adjustments.

Many things that may seen trivial to others might not be so for neurotypical people. Doing a Vlookup in Excel can be incredibly stressful navigating the many rows, cells, numbers, symbols and syntax. It can be overwhelming.

If you want to do one thing for #ActuallyAutistic people today, put your manual clocks back! Time is a centrepiece of our all-important routines, so make sure it's accurate

"Some people say #autism is a superpower and some people say it is a disability..." #Neurodiversity is a workplace priority. Thanks to Michael for sharing his personal experience and also that small changes/adjustments can make a difference. #DigitalFutureMidlands2023
