it induces almost no pathology in neurons or mice (PFF injection model). Mechanically, the O-GlcNAc amyloid does not seed aggregation of endogenous aSyn in neurons. Yet another mechanism where O-GlcNAc can promote the solubility of aSyn and inhibit aggregation.
