Single people are always penalised for being single. The levels of child poverty here in the NE are disgustingly high. This policy will only make it worse. This isn’t the Labour Party I was hoping for. Massively disappointed and I won’t vote Labour again if this goes through 2/2.

Not if you remove single persons CT allowance and their parents can’t afford to feed them they won’t! You’ll be pushing more kids into poverty by doing this. Awful, regressive, dangerous policy. Voted Labour all my life and seriously reconsidering on hearing this news today. 1/.
This government will make sure every single child, whatever their background, wherever they come from, has the best possible education.

the room before I arrived as she knew I was allergic to dust and didn’t want me to be affected. I had no idea she done this and I seen her for years! I don’t think she would have ever told me. It felt important as no one ‘looked after’ in terms of my allergies growing up. 2/2.

One of the most therapeutic things my therapist ever done (that isn’t actual therapy!) was hoover the room before my sessions. I didn’t know she done this until I arrived early one day and the hoover was out. I asked and she said that when it started to get dusty she hoovered 1/.
