@RITB_ @LurgeeLife In the IAPT/EA study, people in work who saw an EA as well as IAPT were less likely to stay in work compared to those who just saw IAPT (88% v 93%). They were more likely to say that their mental health impacted their ability to work, though MH scores were similar.

This govt have led a systematic discrimination of disabled people. Access to work is sometimes the only means by which disabled people can be supported. I for one wouldn’t be able to return to work after my cancer. Do my skills and training not matter because I’m disabled?
The Access to Work scheme is failing disabled people, and its “decline” in the last two years has caused them “real harm”, with some support packages cut by 80 per cent, according to a detailed dossier of evidence prepared by a user-led organisation. https://t.co/PMipv4yLCc

A new film released to celebrate 10 years since activists won a campaign to stop their local council charging for care shows how disabled people can achieve important victories by taking collective action, say campaigners who fought for that success. https://t.co/rYMW0T8yVJ

Important to note that @Doug_Paulley represented himself in this libel case - winning in open court without a solicitor or even cost protection. It is a warning to the whole industry on the toxic culture around transport accessibility @northernassist @Tyrerscoaches

@johnpringdns There an under diagnosis, particularly, now, with the older generation who did not ever get the support they needed. This mind set of dismissing the impact of these conditions is alarming and upsetting.

It's wild when people complain that disabled ppl are "looking for fault". Even if we were looking for ways to campaign to improve accessibility, that's entirely legitimate. Why should we have to wait for inaccessibility to have real world impact on us before challenging it?
