@adam3us Core willingly and happily brought this current wave of social shame on themselves. They encouraged the disharmony and stoked the fires of discontent. Now they watch it burn.

@bitcoincoreorg Strongest warning to users: DO NOT RUN THIS VERSION. The OP_RETURN change is an open attack vector that runs counter to your interests as a node runner. They not only want you to store arbitrary data for spammers, there may be real legal risks.

Long overdue. Bitcoin Core is clearly compromised. @adam3us @NickSzabo4
@BitcoinPierre @peterktodd @LukeDashjr @mattkratter I’m running knots until these parasites at core are dealt with. Rushing unnecessary upgrades that *predictably* expand attack vectors is completely

Went to spend some sats (I spend and replace, ofc) at @SteaknShake a few weeks ago, they couldn’t get the btc POS working for drive-thru, so they gave me the meal for free. Made me like them even more. They’re the only fast food I buy, as long as they’re BTC only. 🤝

@ManliusDaVius @Beautyon_ I’m for an immediate softfork to entirely remove OP_RETURN. I agree that keeping it is an unnecessary risk.

The entire OP Return war has been fascinating to observe. From the beginning, the Core developers have tried so many angles to gas light Bitcoiners in to believing what they’re doing is good for all. When following everything from start to finish, if one sits back and takes

If it is true that the "authorities" are already browsing for illegal material injected thanks to the recklessness of Core, then you can be absolutely sure that they will plant evidence to create what they're looking for. Ask Grok if they have not done this historically to

Bitcoin Core v30 is out. And here we go. Gives a little perspective to why @LukeDashjr and @GrassFedBitcoin said that Bitcoin dies today. #RunningKnots

Core v30 is live, and defection against the network is official. #RunKnots
Thanks @nithusezni and @AdamBLiv for using your influence for what’s right: bitcoin is money. Running Knots. No to Core v30. Core is not bitcoin.

The largest Bitcoin flash crash in history and it’s still sitting at $114,000. This sentence would be utterly incomprehensible just 1 year ago.
