UPDATE: The Douglas County Sheriff's Office has located and interviewed the driver. They say he had a legitimate reason for being in the neighborhood and they believe the events did not transpire as originally reported.

The updates to Nebraska's move-over law are official. All road users are now included in the law, changes to speeding fines and other public safety measures are also included. Click the link below to read all about it!

Previously, the move-over law only applied to emergency or road side assistance vehicles. It now states drivers must slow down and move over when approaching all stopped vehicles and road users.
