We have now counted and had multiple mosques reporting us. 19 mosques attacked since June 2025 to today. This map is a week old. What is happening to our country when mosques and synagogues are attacked. Extremism and political rabble rousing are having real world impacts.

Progress on gender equality has been slow & uneven. No nation has achieved full equality for women & girls. Let's be clear: equal rights & opportunities are not partisan issues. Leaders must speak out, act & deliver the equality our world so sorely needs.

🧵Did you know? Black women in England are 2.3× more likely to die in pregnancy or childbirth than White women. That’s not biology. It’s systemic racism and neglect in maternity care. Our mothers deserve better! #BlackMaternalHealth (1/5)

Great report on the state of Black Maternal health from @CommonsHealth led by Chair @PauletteHamilto It calls for change across England’s maternity services and demands that the voices of Black women are heard. You can read the report here ⬇️ https://t.co/eFmhYhyWga

Gaza is more than a humanitarian crisis – it is a moral crisis that challenges the global conscience. We will continue to speak out. But words don’t feed hungry children. The @UN stands ready to make the most of a ceasefire to dramatically scale up humanitarian operations.

I couldn’t put this down… @marciahut has written about 1st gen experiences. Heartbreak and joy as Mercy tells her story in words that hit hard and you are sat next to her on her step. Thank you so much @CassavaRepublic #TheMercyStep #ReadCassava #ReadingAfrica @SummerdownUK

I led a debate on phone theft in Parliament. I'm calling for a mandatory kill switch. If it’s stolen, it’s useless. If manufacturers won’t act, then Parliament must.

I still don’t know what the ‘conversion’ is converting?? It’s harmful, abusive & has long term trauma that ‘breaks’ people in our communities and makes love ‘conditional’. @TUCEquality @The_TUC #TUCLGBT #BanConversionTherapyNow @NASUWT
