For the past 23 years on the anniversary of 9/11, members of Engine 15 & Rescue Squad 3 in Anacostia plant 343 flags in a memorial to honor the memory & sacrifice of the 343 FDNY firefighters killed on 9/11. Many more have since died of 9/11 related disease. Never Forget.

On September 11, 2001, 343 FDNY members made the Supreme Sacrifice while responding to the attacks on the World Trade Center. Hundreds more have died since of 9/11 related illness. That day changed our City, our country and the FDNY forever. We will #NeverForget.
