Tube drivers start at £68k so £34.87 per hour Children’s A and E nurses start at £28k so £14.36 per hour Both work unsociable hours but some would say the latter is more difficult. Make it make sense.

It doesn't matter if it's pedestrianised. Cyclists, like the one speeding on the pavement who put my little boy in hospital, will still be out in full force.
I'm committed to transforming Oxford Street into a world-class, pedestrian-friendly destination. With 2/3 of Londoners supporting the change, we're moving forward with plans. Get ready for Oxford Street's car-free day this Sun 21 Sept: music, dining, pop-ups & free events ⤵️

Tube drivers are striking for a 32 hour working week, and 75% discounts on all national rail travel. Their base salary is currently £70,182 pa. For a job so demanding some see fit to knit, watch TV, and occasionally press a button to operate doors.

I love that people in Cornwall live in their own little world, they don’t bother with anything else, all they care about is their next pint and gossip. Ah, the simple life 😂

In today’s @metro I discuss the Gen Alpha stare. Have we become a nation of vacant communicators, is it screens or simply rudeness?! https://t.co/99D9KSaZyI

It's time for parents to tackle senseless, stony-faced staring.

An oldie from me but appropriate given that today it has been announced aesthetics clinics will now have to follow stricter regulations! I only wanted some microdermabrasion but was told I needed a whole load of ‘work’ done as my face was not even 😂 https://t.co/nWYhyEnwzI

In 2023 I wrote about the Tea app when it was in its baby stages. Now it’s being hacked. Should an app discuss and post photos of men if they’ve had a ‘worst date?’ With 1922 assaults in the UK, women who go on dates are not gossiping, mainly its safety. It’s also accountability!

At first I thought the Online Safety Act might protect kids from grooming, bullying & harassment, something I feel strongly about. But it’s looking more like a crackdown on adults and free speech. The alternative? Don't let your kids online is what it boils down to!

Cyclists are Gods in the U.K. Laws do not apply to them, courts are afraid of them, and politicians worship them. And the general public unfortunately have to put up with them.

Just call me trunchball 🥳 New article for @metro.co.uk ❤️ I discuss the rise and rise of gentle parenting and how grit and resilience is the order of the day! 💪🏻 https://t.co/OcPBdg3pOF?

I find 'gentle parenting' completely toxic and think it’s essentially setting your child up for failure.

Should you cut ties with your parents? My recent piece on @GBNEWS . In an age of cancel culture, I think some things should stay uncancellable. Like your mum.

You know you’re OLD when you’re banging on about cyclists (AGAIN) in @Telegraph I still think despite new laws cyclists are riding recklessly in London, I see so many incidents on the roads and pavements even when kids are around - riding dangerously seem to be the norm!! xx
