Update Fire Task Force 2300 block Nebraska Ave NW.,Unite continue to open up and extinguish numerous hotspots. Fire involved rear deck, basement, both floors and attic. Residents were home and all safely escaped. No reports of injuries. Investigators on scene. #DCsBravest

Memorial helmet ceremony at 14th & H Sts NE honoring Private Stewart Rosenberger, Engine 10, who made the supreme sacrifice at that location in 1910. These helmets will hang at all locations where #DCsBravest have fallen in the line of duty.
