Please get a bike lock, or design a sonic alarm system. Thrives don't like being around things making alarm sounds. Disregard ALL bike lock marketing. Modern portable power tools can cut anything. Make a bike that screams I'm being stolen

Seriously? I'm busier on transit then I am in most of the rest of my life. I catch up on texts, my lists, and at least 30 other things. Transit represents instant, hardware free, transportation for me. And if I walk few blocks, it adds to my daily steps. Instant transportation!

Convert on-street car parking (a giveaway for road users who aren't even going anywhere) into traveling bike/scooter/etc lane. Cars are threatening you indirectly and you don't even notice

Obviously he only drives on his own private land, in his DIY device, using energy he extracted from thin air or land. And consumes only his own food and booze. And bldg materials never been on a truck or through a port. And would never have need for law enforcement, courts, Etc

Bike corral 'parklet' in the foreground. These ad hoc fruit & veg stands, etc. as I see it, are effortless & natural extensions of the street. Residents partake of the offerings - and it makes for a more vibrant / attractive / utilizable existing commercial corridor

You seemed to have ignored my main point earnestly made to address the physical threat to you from sidewalk riders. There's plenty of room on most streets for pedestrians and moving vehicles - some places the stationary ones will need to be removed

All around the world bike transport is the cheapest for municipalities. Maintaining automotive infrastructure is astoundingly expensive. And all automotive related taxes do not even come close to paying for it.

Oh, good start?! You should firstly know the owners of Cafe Trieste have been staunchly against any restriction to cars/prkg for decades. Until their 'conversation' with Peskin to parklet during pandemic to keep their $ flowing, as they rejected The Poets Plaza a year before

In London / Hoxton St. there are, quite casually, fruit and veg stalls at the curb. approx 2 dozen parking spaces on 4 'blocks' along Hoxton high street. An opportunity for low income folks to start a small business - and bring fresh goods to the residents
