A few weeks ago, I heard the Philharmonic perform in New York, and outside there was a demonstration. It was after the ceasefire, and the people there weren’t protesting Gaza. The signs we saw weren’t about Gaza at all. They were about Israel - about the existence of Israel.

WIS rocks!!!
We're proud to share that the Weizmann Institute of Science has been ranked 6th in the world in the 2025 @cwtsleiden Ranking - a jump of four places from the 2024 ranking and our highest position since the ranking was introduced some two decades ago >> https://t.co/YNbQnHGe0S

It took me more than 10 days before I could enter Ullman and climb to the burnt lab. Heartbreaking. Thankful to @WeizmannScience for helping us get up on our feet and look forward.

Nothing can break us!
When we came to see our destroyed labs hit by an Iranian missile, we found that a piano had survived @WeizmannScience

Very interesting study!
New work in @ScienceTM connects immunosenescence and the decline of the thymus during aging with a drop in the ligand RANKL—and shows RANKL treatment restores T cell production and rejuvenates immune responses in aged mice. https://t.co/KhFjz67Ojf

One very ineresting view on aging clocks and what they can or cannot tell us. 👇 https://t.co/Fd5cEMcBpT

Congrats Nurit. In this stidy we show that p21 might be master regulator of cellular microenvironment with a critical role in fibrosis. Thanks to all the coauthors.
What is the contribution of p21-positive senescent cells to tissue fibrosis? @KrizhanovskyLab @WeizmannScience show that p21 controls not only cell cycle progression but also promotes expression of ECM components and immune invasion https://t.co/dxZvvYNdxr

We show that p16 expressing #SenescentCells enhance PDL1 stability, by downregulating its ubiquitin-dependent proteasomal degradation to accumulate in #Aging and chronic inflammation. Anti-PDL1 activates an immune response to eliminate senescent cells and decrease inflammaging.
