Wrote about Michael Haneke’s Caché. It’s definitely in my top ten, despite being void of humour (breaking a loose rule I subscribe to that great works should have some element of humour). Very grateful to the legend John Doran for edits:

Rory Kiberd looks at an implacable, chilly film by Haneke that considers amnesia whether by repression or suppression.

One thing I never see mentioned when discussing the sexual themes in Watchmen is that Rorschach’s mask is always displaying a super tall, dominant woman a decade older than me calling me a good boy. I feel like that should be brought up more

It’s beautiful to learn that generating realistic imagery of anything you can imagine is actually mostly pretty boring and stupid. Wouldn’t have been an obvious pick for a who cares technology

A director who never misses is back with his most urgent film to date, about the messed up world we’re passing on to our children

This one was difficult. When we first finished it I wasn’t sure it would be released. It’s weird for me to present myself publicly the way i did at times but I feel like it’s important to share this anyway. I hope you guys like it.

at 1:24 O'Malley has Robinson backed all the way up against the ropes about to break just helplessly muttering "who do you know here" and you can see him realize it's a good line that'll cut well so he snaps into character and says it again in Tim Robinson Voice

On the European Summer Tour 2012, Bob grabbed the guitar once or twice during the show – and you could tell he was really enjoying it. You can see it in his performance of ‘Simple Twist of Fate’ in Bonn - 13 years ago today (July 4, 2012). 📹: Patrick M. (YT) #bobdylan

Germany when it comes to talking about antisemitism
"Frankly, we have imported antisemitism with the big numbers of migrants we have within the last 10 years." German Chancellor Friedrich Merz blamed the rise in antisemitism on migrants, calling it a "terrible challenge" for the country. https://t.co/VA8sqOfA7f

Insane Bob Dylan stat: more time has elapsed between the release of World Gone Wrong in 1993 and today than between the release of that elegiac masterpiece and his self-titled debut album in 1962. World Gone Wrong is now part of the FIRST HALF of Dylan’s career.
