The game seemed to be giving you a series of strawman choices with regards to ideology & then insulting you. Smart dialogue, well written characters, clever narrative devices, but also writing "at" you with their political stuff in a way the actual nuts and bolts story doesn't.

I played 1/4 of Disco Elysium, and it's also very politically "scoldy" despite the heavy "safe libertine" edge. The closest thing to a "moral" character the game lets you be is a "leftist that hates other leftists". Very heavy-handed despite feigning disaffection. Rick and morty.
