Complex issue for sure! I appreciate being part of a team where each member of the council can vote for their conscience! Appreciate your stance and great questions!
I voted in favour of the letter based on the information and experience I have; however, it’s a complex issue, and I recognize there is a lot I don’t know. I would be interested in exploring a holistic approach - a Community Safety and Well-Being Plan e.g.

I think we may have a new winner. Garfield Bight in very shallow water in Everglades Nat'l Park, SW corner of Miami-Dade county just hit 98.1F for two hours straight. Head scratching hot water over South Florida! Shallow water heats fast but this is a whole new level.
