Created a WebGL neural network visualization for the quadruped robot I've been working on. The more red, the higher the activation. Bluer is less activation, while green is a midpoint.

I really like where creative workflows are going ☺️ In two evenings I - modelled an old turtle drummer in @nomadsculpt - added a stage and extra animation in @Blender - brought it to the web with @NeedleTools and @threejs. Zero coding. Live (with sound!) here:

Sad to say that, just shy of 7 years at Sketchfab, I'm part of the Epic Games layoffs. Not sure what's next for me / what it means the cultural heritage program, but for now I'm just letting it sink in. Any suggestions for remote work related to 3D + museum-y stuff welcome 🙏

One of the uses of AI that I'm excited about is simply ML that helps people design more pleasant indoor spaces. We spend most of our lives in them, but our current tools don't make it easy to measure/optimize the complex, emergent "humans feel happy and comfortable here" metric.
