@morninglive will @xandvt be on tomorrow to apologise for the numerous incorrect statements and false information he gave out today? It's NOT the end of the inhaler Old fashioned isn't unsafe Steroids save lives when used correctly No mention of BLUE inhaler in an emergency

Formoterol available nebulised. But high doses in nebuliser all meds, acute angle glaucoma risk and if using at home as that necessary should be seeking help

@ProfHurst Are LABAs and LAMAs available in nebules? Nebules in the acute setting, yes! Nebules at home, long term? Really need to justify that one Most just spew bacteria 🦠 into the lungs in a nice humid aerobic environment Problem is @AmazonUK @eBay_UK and @LidlGB sell them

Week 37 message from GINA: Reason for preferring as-needed-only ICS–formoterol over as-needed SABA (alone or with daily ICS) in Steps 1 &2: adherence with daily ICS is often poor in patients with mild or infrequent symptoms, increasing risk of attacks.
