A good discussion last week on how we can improve the nation's health, in large part because of it's x-cutting nature - govt, planners, charities representing a wide range of populations, active travel organisations, think tanks. Important to think & act broadly to boost health.
Great to host a roundtable this week to discuss how transport can help boost the nation’s health. Just yesterday we announced nearly £300m for 300 miles of new cycle & foot ways – leading to 43k fewer sick days a year to ease pressure on the NHS & deliver our #PlanforChange
