We've benefited hugely from the drive of early-career researchers. We've published reviews, a research prioritisation and surveys, a guideline is close to completion, and we've tested a database and clinical MDT. Not everything went to plan, but we learn from that.

But this is our last meeting as co-chairs so it's been fantastic to meet some of the network face-to-face in Lausanne these last two days. We've been reflecting on our achievements, and the challenges we've faced, and prioritised future work under new leadership.

If you've not heard of #GLILD, it's a rare lung disease seen in some people living with primary antibody deficiency syndromes such as #CVID. Our partnership brings together pulmonologists, immunologists, radiologists, pathologists and those with lived experience.

I've been part of a few CRCs over the years, and it's been my privilege to co-chair the e-GLILDnet CRC (@glildnet) on Granulomatous and Lymphocytic Interstitial Lung Disease (GLILD) since inception in 2019. My co-chair is Professor Klaus Warnatz.
