Exciting findings from our latest study in @JAMANetOpen! We prospectively examined data from 48k women and found that more frequent and longer duration of gastroesophageal reflux symptoms were associated with subsequent poor sleep quality 🛏️ #GITwitter #MedTwitter.

Women with more frequent gastroesophageal reflux (GER) symptoms for longer duration had a higher risk of poor sleep quality. Effective treatment of GER symptoms may be important for the reduction of comorbidities associated with poor sleep quality.
