Disappointing outcome for the MOCS today. The event crashed and WotC did and said nothing. I understand resources taken away from MTGO and put into Arena, but if they're going to revamp the client, launch MH early, and have a 250k MOCS they should be able to give us one sentence

Wow I qualified for the Arena Champs in Explorer with Rakdos Sacrifice! This was the first of 4 Qualifier events for Arena Champs 6- a $200k, 32 player event happening TBD. I went 7-1 both days. Could not be happier to have such a meaningful finish with my favorite deck 🥳😍🏆

Top 3 tips for standard this season:
1) make sure your wrist has a tidy "snap". you don't want any off-table rerolls.
2) consider a light bankshot off the deckbox, assuming a regular playmat/deckbox layout.
3) channel energy towards "six, six". confidence goes a long way

Finished 7-1 in today's MOCS prelim with a brew that I've been working on since before the MOCS championship. Didn't have the guts to play it there or in the Arena MCQ, but I'm glad I did on trusty mtgo and put up a result

Won the Pioneer Challenge today! (11/7/21. 66 players) intended to play modern but I couldn't wake up at 4am so I ran back my UW control list from September. Lots of sweet matches that came down to the final minute and/or topdeck

Heard about the guy that won a WSOP bracelet from a parking lot at 5am. In 2011 my internet cut at 1am and I ran to a coffeeshop w/ my laptop and played the MOCS in a dark alley using their wifi (in a bad area of Sacramento). I was 6-1 in r7 when it crashed and was rescheduled

. All losses at the PT were to inverter (6-3-1) so I felt motivated to make some changes and improve the MU. Somehow I never faced it today but I can't complain about the results

I qualified for Pro Tour Barcelona last weekend with Rakdos Sacrifice in Pioneer! The deck had the highest winrate across all of the RCs and I know it inside and out. Now offering coaching on the deck, DM me for more details and to schedule a session
The level of detail you can attain from deep dives, card selection & understanding the approach for RB Sac was a definitive level up for me. I ended up doubling down on the coaching session & will definitely be doing it again. Couldn’t recommend Logan enough! Confidence is 10/10

I've been playing a lot of KHM standard and enjoying it. I went 6-0 in a SCG satellite yesterday with Sultai Ultimatum, but am now 4-2 in the Main Event after 2 byes. Tweaking stuff as I go but if you like sultai piles I think this deck is very real

In the last 2 weeks I played 100 matches of Pioneer with BR Sac and in those matches played against 31 different archetypes! My fave deck was a monowhite Giant Ox vehicles deck that actually seemed good. Hoping for 10+ more matches in today's super Q. The format is deece!

Online PTQs are my first language, and I wish I could say it's good to be back (it isn't). Hope I've improved enough to take one down this season. I do like the challenge of proving myself to get to the top, and I won't quit until I do (or stumble upon a better use for my time)

I'll be competing in this and it should be great. 8 players battle in 3 rounds of cube and 3 rounds of modern with a match of modern for the finals. 20k for 1st and 5k just for qualifying. Excited to compete in my FIFTH mocs!

Disappointed that my recent hitting Gold doing well and grinding GPs seems to have lost a lot of relevance, but the changes are pretty exciting as a whole and I think I'm just part of a small group that got pwned. I'm feeling optimistic to learn more about the next grind

Gave it my all, but fell short of the the top8 of the Arena ladder. I know I'm late to the party, but Arena is awesome and I had a blast making the attempt. Standard is tough right now, lots of viable decks winning in different ways. gl to those coming down the home stretch

7-2 in the modern ptq yesterday and 7-2 in the modern mocs today for a 3rd in a row exactly 16th place with golgari lurrus (may have scrubbed a challenge in there). deck is a lot better than i gave it credit for and I've enjoyed improving the MUs over time (esp heliod)
