Image unwittingly explains the travails of a fragmented approach to indigenous weapons. Indian missile designed to match Ru launcher originally designed to serve as both launcher and pylon, now attached to another pylon (actually meant for heavy stores) but via an adaptor!
With Astra Mk-2, JDAMs and A2SM Hammer, LCA Tejas can create a lot of confusion in the enemy camp. I am not even talking about Mk-1A variant yet.

A small fact check. One new fighter type was inducted into the IAF in 2016 and not 18 years ago! It has since worked up to one full squadron plus some. However fantastic the Rafale might be cannot change that fact. Same problem on NDTV too.

Think you've seen an F-15 display? Think again! The F-15QA Ababil display in Dubai was out of this world and massively raised the bar.
