General Electric missed its August deadline for delivering two F-404 engines. After recent meetings, the company now plans to supply 3–5 engines by October. “We’re on track with the latest schedule shared with HAL,” said a GE spokesperson.
With cost negotiations concluded, a deal for 113 F404 engines for an additional batch of 97 #Tejas Mk-1A aircraft is now ready for signing. The CCS has cleared the proposal, and the contract is expected to be signed this month.
