Post natal depression is a real thing. Looking at how hard life is right now for people combined with that, I don’t think it’s an easy decision people make. The lesson here is the most vulnerable people need more help, pregnant women and new parents especially.

You don’t have to show a ticket on tfl. It’s an Oyster card so the person in the high vis jacket could have easily validated the card but instead was just strolling around looking at the floor… the police also did not need to get this involved at all.

As a Londoner who doesn’t look like you. It’s worth keeping quiet and listening to what people have to say that differs from your life experiences. Just a tip when it comes to police being heavy handed… over a bus fare. Not armed robbery. Ticket inspectors give fines at best.

I really hate to point this out but racism towards blacks exists a lot in the Asian community, especially south Asian. So I don’t think they’re being delusional. They know exactly what they’re doing and often say it behind closed doors or when they’re in big groups.
