Forth, we demonstrated that collateral activity is triggered when transient CRISPR-RfxCas13d approaches target extremely abundant and ectopic mRNAs such as reporters, inducing non-targeted DsRed fluorescence decay, 28S rRNA fragmentation and developmental defects (8/13)
