So the government got rid of the 2 week wait targets because there aren't enough doctors to provide the service in a timely manner. But doctors striking for better pay and conditions are the problem?.
What is absolutely unacceptable is causing hospitals and cancer patients even more worry, and missing out on even more medical care, by not telling the workforce team of your intentions. You should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself and so should the entire BMA.

What better outcomes?.
Loving the bizarre arguments from doctors able to earn £145k a year, hating on Physician Associates for enabling better patient outcomes because the most juniors doctors (still in training) don’t earn as much as fully trained PAs. Stamping feet and shouting it’s not fair.

@ag_i_2211 @viditchess In India, AYUSH practitioners (Ayurveda, Homeopathy) legally use "Dr." with BAMS/BHMS degrees, but scientifically, homeopathy is pseudoscience lacking evidence, and Ayurveda often falls short of modern medicine's rigor. Physiotherapy is a valid allied health field. TheLiverDoc's.

The real push to dilute medicine is coming from replacing doctors with ACPs. If you're worried about PAs you should be equally worried about ACPs. There are far more and they're on the SHO rota in many specialties. Just because they were here first doesn't make them safe.
