I get asked this frequently. Do a residency. Medical school doesn’t make you a doctor, residency does. You need the experience of seeing patients but also the increasing levels of independence in clinical decision making. Will make you much better at tech role.
I've been asking chief medical officers this q. all week. If you're out of medical school and interested in working in digital health on the clinical side, is it worth doing residency? Got some interesting feedback that I'll collect & share. Anyone got strong opinions?.
