We had a great time at @BKCyclones AAPI Heritage Night! Our Sheepshead Bay Center’s Older Adults lit up the field with an amazing dance performance. Thanks to @cpc_nyc, Brooklyn Cyclones, United Chinese Association of Brooklyn, & @pcra_nyc for a beautiful night of community!

Yesterday, HCS teamed up with @pcra_nyc & @JustinBrannan’s Office for a Coney Island community clean-up!. Huge thanks to all volunteers who showed up in the heat to help keep our streets clean. Grateful to @kaymsanto & @chrismccreight from CM Brannan’s Office for their support!

A touching moment that stayed with us: one member offering candy to an older adult from another group. No words, just care between strangers. Our older adults deserve these moments, not constant struggle. A fair budget is the minimum.
