Cooling centers across NYC will be open tomorrow and Thursday due to expected high temperatures. There are ten cooling centers in District 20 if you need to escape the heat.

A reminder that all children 18 and younger can get a free lunch Monday through Friday at the Flushing, McGoldrick & Mitchell-Linden branches of @QPLNYC from 1 to 2 p.m. Enrollment is not required.

A new YMCA has been part of the Flushing Commons project since it was first proposed. I secured $1M to help finally make this a reality.

This budget includes funding to renovate a playground in Peck Park and address persistent flooding issues.

In another historic first, this budget includes money to promote and support AAPI curriculum in public schools across NYC.
