PhD #2 is in Arctic stream carbon biogeochemistry, exploring sources and fates of methane in Arctic streams. It will involve a lot of work in the Abisko research station in northern Sweden. Co-advisors will be J. Karlsson and Y. Sjöberg. Apply by March 1st

PhD #1 involves river network modeling of carbon processing. Co-advisors are R. Sponseller ( Ecosystem Ecology) and M. Rosvall ( Physics). This position is part of a research school in Stress responses of complex systems. Apply by February 16th.
