"by trying to distinguish yourself following the same rules and running the same race as everyone else" is such a bar! ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ.
@JohnHolbein1 - by thinking you deserve it for time served and wanting it badly enough . - by trying to distinguish yourself following the same rules and running the same race as everyone else . - by waiting to feel safe or secure before doing anything that might be perceived as risky.

This is beautifully stated.
When two of the same experiment get different results in different hands, that often means some critical variable wasnโt controlled for when repeated and we have an incomplete understanding of important factors at play. As we gain understanding, these results can become less.

It should also be noted that medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry DO, in fact, test these components for ADMET individually in most cases. This is why we know compartments, rate, order, etc. These arguments fail to understand the role of pre-clinical chemistry.
@Nebulai No, because we aren't administering the individual components to people and toxicologic effects can be modulated by the composition of the entire preparation.

You had to know this was coming. and many more "private-public" partnerships.
Aggie Square will be a game-changing catalyst for new research discoveries. @UCDavisMed is a major partner in this exciting new collaboration, which will advance Chancellor Gary S. Mayโs vision to create more public-private partnerships. Learn more:

Interesting read for sure. I'd be interested in what that paper said about UPFs that RFK disagreed with.
Answers to a few questions from @bigfatsurprise about incidences of censorship I recently experienced at NIH:. 1. My request was denied by HHS to present an invited keynote talk on my ultra-processed food (UPF) research at the Bloomberg Philanthropies annual Food Policy Program.

Oh don't you worry lol with these funding cuts, those ivory tower docs are gonna have to make the trek to clinic/hospital and slum it like the "nobodies. ".
I have zero respect for a researcher, perched in an ivory tower publishing thousands of papers, who publicly tells a practicing clinician, who spends their day caring for patients, that they are a "nobody" because they have not published a paper.

RFK Jr. made his intentions known before being confirmed. He wanted to stop infectious disease research for seven years to focus on "chronic disease." He is doing everything in his power to keep that promise.

Much of the federal government's efforts to buoy lagging childhood vaccination rates have been run through the Office of Infectious Disease and HIV/AIDS Policy.
