Take a look at my personal perspective on the past, present, and future of in situ structural biology with cryo-ET+ While initially skeptical about the genre, I found it fun to write and hopefully, you can enjoy my experiences and some thoughts. Nice WE! https://t.co/v7Upk35UOt

I stared off doing neuroscience and dwindled into the abyss of infection research. So happy that @MishaKudryashev took up the torch.

New preprint with @SchwarzUlrich and @RippJohanna for @ParasitePhysics: Traction force generation in motile #malaria #parasites is modulated by the Plasmodium adhesin TLP. Sporozoite still running in circles, but in many colors. Red: strong force. https://t.co/y1WJSgK2yt

After 4 years of revisions (ok, not exactly working 24/7 on it) @KehrerJessica and @_emma_pietsch_ got this manuscript to the next level. Using APEX-based proximity labelling in #malaria #parasites we found a new protein important for Plasmodium gamete egress+ookinete migration.
