Rotherham’s Baton Relay = energy, teamwork and community 👏 I was kindly invited to run the last leg - 84 schools, 100+miles and 13,000(!) engaged children along the way. Great example of getting the next generation outdoors, building confidence and having fun! 🏃‍♂️ 👏

2/2 Over 270 staff and riders have already volunteered in communities projects across Manchester - showing our commitment to tackling inequalities through cycling. Thanks so much to all the staff, athletes, volunteers and everyone who believes in 2 wheels as much as I do. 🙏

1/2 An incredibly proud moment. Today @BritishCycling launches the Foundation 🥹 The people who stand to benefit most from cycling all too often face the biggest barriers. I’ve been working hard to help change that - and I won’t stop soon.

2/2 We’re already busy in planning mode - including for e-bikes to help people get to work or college, more community-led projects, and loads more work with schools after the Mayor’s #WalkandWheel Challenge 🚲🛴👟 Big steps forward for walking, wheeling and cycling in our region.
