I agree actually. Art can be bad, but it can rarely be wrong. Artists are often on a journey, and how we express our ideas often won’t be to everyone’s standards/taste. I never shut that down. Sometimes our art is tasteless, cringe, disrespectful. But people are complicated
I hate the argument art, specially when dealing with serious topics, has to be "done well/respectfully" to be allowed to exist. Art has a right to be crass and tasteless and poorly-executed, either on purpose or by accident.

So I have learned editing takes me much longer than actually writing. I wrote all 3 Icons books in 3months around work, mostly while travelling. 1.2 million words. A complete saga. I’ve been writing all week. I’ve finished editing 2 chapters. 🥲

A friend raised in discord that I have a 3D printer so I could print perfect stamps. I guess this is the same issue I have with AI. I like making things myself. Imperfection is human.
This was a really fun way to spend an evening. Wanted to do cell but turns out I can’t draw him so trunks instead 🤣 Y’all worrying too much about doing art that’s impressive, or for your portfolio. Do something for the joy.
