Britain isn’t working. Other parties won’t do what’s needed to put it right. Join me live from 10 to hear how we will.
Right now, in Britain there are more than 6 million working-age people claiming benefits instead of working. Enough is enough. @KemiBadenoch will set out our plan to fix it from 10am.

Who is Labour’s (Un)Employment Bill for? It’s not workers. It’s the trade unions. And they want to tangle every British business in costly red tape. Labour must scrap the Bill.

Securing a new permanent CCHQ in Westminster is a major step forward. A £14m investment that strengthens our Party, supports the next generation of Conservative candidates, and builds the foundation for victory. Thank you to the Conservative Party Foundation.
NEW: Tories are getting a new home The Conservative Party Foundation has spent £14.3 million on a new five-floor building at a Castle Lane location, half a mile from Parliament The move out of £1m-a-year Matthew Parker Street comes as lease ends summer 2026

A 78 per cent tax rate on UK oil and gas is not a strategy. It is economic vandalism. Mark my words, when investment leaves, jobs go with it. And when production falls, we end up at the mercy of foreign suppliers who do not share our values, our standards or our interests.

Under this Government, unemployment is 𝐮𝐩📈, the benefits bill is 𝐮𝐩📈, and taxes on working families are 𝐮𝐩📈. That’s why @HouseofCommons I asked why they loathe aspiration and hard work, in favour of more welfare spending👎. Sadly, I did not get a proper answer...🙄

You can’t rewrite history, Torsten 🟥 Labour left Britain with unemployment close to 9% after the 2009 crash. 🟦 Conservatives got people back into work - a decade-long fall in unemployment and rising employment. 🟥 Labour return and, surprise surprise… unemployment starts

The Employment Rights Bill is back in the Commons today. MPs should think hard about the jobs that won’t be created and the people who won’t be hired if we allow some of the most damaging aspects of the Bill onto our Statue Book. The Government is currently on track to move

The Chancellor stood up during her Budget speech and said she was helping the British Pub. In fact she introduced a stealth tax costing the British pub £380 million over the next three years. She has called last orders on many pubs across the UK.

Front page of the Times covers a new aspect of Labour’s (Un)Employment Bill with businesses being forced to promote union membership to staff using state dictated propaganda wording. 😱

BREAKING: I’ve written to @TheFCA seeking urgent clarity on why it is not currently investigating serious, market-moving leaks and statements made by the Treasury ahead of the Budget. This matters 👇🏻
The Budget process has been undermined by leaks and spin that misled markets and the public. I’ve written again to the Treasury Permanent Secretary demanding answers, clarity on the Chancellor’s involvement, and confirmation that a formal investigation is underway. My letter 👇🏻

I write today about the government’s latest bad idea, cooked up by the trade unions: removing the long-accepted caps on awards that can be made by employment tribunals. It will be ruinously expensive for small firms, further incentivise vexatious claims and kill jobs.

From Wimbledon to Winchester last night — and what a treat. I was genuinely impressed by the amazing artisans in the market. Their creativity and craftsmanship are second to none. A reminder that support for our independent traders shouldn’t be just for Christmas!
