Wholesale gas/oil is now below the price is was before Russia invaded the Ukraine. So why aren't the big energy firms reflecting this? Businesses are going to the wall. Families are having to choose to eat or heat. The Gov't urgently needs to intervene.

I am so proud that we have a leader, standing up for the lowest paid who would be affected the most in Tier 3. Fighting for the hospitality industry, fighting for Greater Manchester. Andy Burnham: King of the North.

If they go down the route of only allowing pubs to reopen with outdoor spaces, it is yet another attack on class culture. The vast majority of community pubs do not have pretty beer gardens, with Foie Gras on the menu. Nonsense.

The Gov'ts defence is just in, in advance of the Judge looking at it next week. They must be concerned, they've put their No.1 legals on the case, Sir James Eadie QC, the First Treasury Counsel. Although this is a David vs Goliath battle, we look forward to next weeks decision.

Pressures quite rightly mounting on the Downing St Xmas Parties. I think it's right that the public know who actually attended them. Lets not let this one drift away.

Shambolic. I cannot and will not, just sit by and allow the Government to destroy hospitality. It will spell the end of the traditional pub as we know it. @AndyBurnhamGM called first thing and we are speaking again later. We cannot accept this. We will fight for the sector.
