“Cognitive impairment is a hallmark of #LongCovid,” said Dr. Ziyad Al-Aly “Studies estimate some 20 to 30% of people who get Covid have some cognitive impairment several months later.. Research has also shown clear biological changes from the virus related to cognition”

I think this paper is a Denial Of Peer Review Attack (DOPRA). It's kind of like a DoS (denial of service) attack. There is so much data, so many methods, so much code, so many figures, so many panels, so much supplement, so much text, that it is overwhelming. 18/

FACT: #COVID19 is NOT airborne. The #coronavirus is mainly transmitted through droplets generated when an infected person coughs, sneezes or speaks. To protect yourself: -keep 1m distance from others -disinfect surfaces frequently -wash/rub your 👐 -avoid touching your 👀👃👄

A former extrovert like my grandpa, now I’m mostly alone b/c people deny me access. It hurts. I spend more time with the dead than the living. But ghosts are good company. They teach me to be in the world in a way that’s different. To move in love. “Access is love” — @SFdirewolf

Ironically, my friend is the head of a liberal org on campus, and his randomly assigned roommate is the head of the equivalent conservative org. That alone should provide enough basis for reassignment

He's been trying to be reassigned for the entire year because his roommate has anger management issues, but housing never granted the request. Now, Stanford won't give him temporary housing because testing is optional, so there's no proof that his roommate has covid

I've been stressed the entire year, but the current state is absurd. 14 people in my coop tested positive last week (incl my roommate). My friend in a dorm avoids going in or out of his room because his alt-right roommate is sick and refuses to test and housing won't reassign him

I don’t get the growing “no matter what we do, people are going to die so why bother doing anything” sentiment on this site. COVID is our new #3 leading cause of death and is going to contribute significantly to several of our other top 10 leading causes of death…

Just in from Planned Parenthood @ppfa: MacKenzie Scott has donated $275 million to the national office and 21 Planned Parenthood affiliates. That's the largest donation from a single donor in Planned Parenthood's history.

Everyone knows what happened in Babyn Yar, right? It is one of the singularly most horrific massacres in human history. The Nazis murdered nearly all of Kyiv's Jewry – nearly 34,000 people – one bullet at a time over a period of only 2 days in 1941. Thread.

To the world: what is the point of saying «never again» for 80 years, if the world stays silent when a bomb drops on the same site of Babyn Yar? At least 5 killed. History repeating…
