The UK gov't can never run out of money. It's the only entity that can legally make as much of it as it likes. There are limits to doing so if it wants to control inflation, but anyone saying 'there is no money' doesn't understand how the economy works. Most politicians don't.

Please remember 40% of Universal Credit recipients are in work. This is not 'workers v non workers' (and hopefully not anyone v anyone else). This is about whether those on the very lowest incomes have enough to survive.
